Our doctors assess requests against a number of medical criteria. Someone doesn't (currently) qualify if one of the following points applies:
76 years or older
BMI below 25 (and never used weight-loss medication before)
BMI between 25 and 27, without increased health risk based on ethnicity (and never used weight-loss medication before)
Pregnant
Breastfeeding
BMI below 30, without an underlying condition that qualifies for this
Uses insulin
Uses a sulfonylurea derivative
Previously had pancreatitis
Has the situation changed, or does none of these points (still) apply? Then the questionnaire can be filled in again.
