How does ID verification work and what if it fails?

Step-by-step explanation of ID verification, common mistakes and solutions

To assess your request, our doctors need some information from you. It's a legal requirement to verify your identity before prescription medication can be prescribed. That's why we ask you to identify yourself once, so our doctors can help you safely and carefully.

Why is verification needed?

We only receive your name, age, and gender. This information is needed to establish who we're dealing with and to carry out the legally required medication safety check. We don't receive any additional data.

How can you verify?

ID scan

You can verify your identity by scanning your ID card, driving licence, or passport. Follow the steps shown on your screen. You need:

  • ID card, driving licence, or passport

  • Good lighting
